United Gospel Rescue Mission appreciates your time and energy, and your prayers. The old adage “time is money” is true! Each time you volunteer, you provide a valuable service we couldn’t have accomplished without you. Here are volunteer projects that will help UGRM in our work to lift up the fallen. Feeding our community: We invite your family, civic group, coworkers or church group to provide our noon community meal.

Thrift Store: Help sort, price and clean items, and stock the shelves at our Thrift Store where hundreds of folks come each week to purchase bargains for their homes. Money raised through the store provides an income for the Mission and our services. To learn more, contact Angela at (573) 785-4683.

Professional maintenance services: Are you a carpenter, mechanic, roofer, electrician, plumber or painter? We need your help to maintain and improve our facilities and machinery all year-round.

Administrative and program assistance: UGRM can use your help with office work, art therapy, photography, mentoring, teaching, training and more.

Praying for our needs: There is no greater service than to take UGRM “before the throne of grace with confidence”! Your commitment to pray daily for the Mission and our guests, residents and community clients WILL change lives.
